10th to 22th of january, 2011

Open for over 50 years old, the Ecole des Sables proposes during two weeks in January 2011 a discovery of the Senegalese culture in the village of Toubab Dialaw, through movement, music, rhythms, tales and poetry, the breath of the breezes from the Atlantic Ocean, and meetings with the elders of the village of Toubab Dialaw, guardians of the tradition.

This workshop is especially proposed to traditional dancers having had very little or no contact with Contemporary Dance ; to contemporary dancers, who know or perfectly master the Traditional Dances of their country and to Hip-Hop dancers.
